Bland County won the last time they faced Galax and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maroon Tide. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Bland County not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Galax between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Addison Myers paced Bland County's offense, picking up 11 kills. Myers got some help from Presley Watters and her 25 assists. Tinley Worley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bland County now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Galax, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
