Softball Recap: Elkhart Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Elkhart Christian Academy fell victim to South Bend Riley and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Elkhart Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Ehninger, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Elkhart Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for South Bend Riley, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Elkhart Christian Academy will be playing at home against Glenn at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for South Bend Riley, they will venture away from home to face off against New Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
