Norton heads in on the heels of a playoff match last Friday. They were dealt a 42-10 defeat at the hands of Old Rochester Regional. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Lancers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Bellingham came tearing into last Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Titans 35-21. The win almost wasn't to be: the Blackhawks were down 14-0 in the second quarter.

Bellingham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabe Egan, who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns. Another signal caller making a difference was Zach Berkeley, who threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns.

Bellingham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ryan Cochrane and Brock Barry. Michael Demers was another major factor on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Bellingham pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points per game. As for Norton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Norton came up short against Bellingham when the teams last played back in November of 2023, falling 20-13. Thankfully for Norton, Dasha Domercant (who rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 110 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes) won't be suiting up this time.
