Softball Recap: Roosevelt Drops Season-High Score on Dimmitt

Roosevelt had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-14 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Dimmitt Bobcats 20-9. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Roosevelt got a massive performance out of Zobry Bryant, who went 3-for-5 with six stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was K Grimes, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Roosevelt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

As for Dimmitt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18-1 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured 12 defeats in a row.

On Dimmitt's side, they got a big performance out of Mia Pacheco, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Pacheco has hit this season. Adryane Rosas was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
