Volleyball Recap: Sylvan-Lucas' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sylvan-Lucas had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lakeside Knights. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Tuesday.

Sylvan-Lucas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 25-18.

Harlee Nelson paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up ten kills. Nelson got some help from Olivia Crawford and her nine assists.

Sylvan-Lucas' victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Lakeside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Sylvan-Lucas nor Lakeside have any future games scheduled.
