Volleyball Recap: Tabb Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Tabb waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lafayette Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Tabb was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 25-12.

Tabb's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Burhite, who had 13 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Burhite has posted since October 2nd. Faye Realina was another key player, getting 16 assists and seven digs.

Tabb's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Lafayette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Tabb will challenge Norcom at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lafayette, they will take on Grafton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
