Soccer Game Preview: Calhoun vs. Bay City

The Calhoun Sandcrabs will venture away from home to square off against the Bay City Blackcats at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Calhoun is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Last Friday, Calhoun earned a 3-1 victory over Rice Consolidated.

Daniel Solano and Maung Soe scored all three of Calhoun's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Bay City put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past El Campo 6-2. The result was nothing new for the Blackcats, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Bay City's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those six contests. As for Calhoun, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
