            Softball Recap: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Owyhee Storm        
        
		
        
        
            Ridgevue had lost 14 straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-18 to make it 15. They lost  12-0 to the Owyhee Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  14-0  back in March.
As for Owyhee, the  victory keeps they at an undefeated 21-0. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average this season.
For Owyhee's part,  Grace Brooks made a big impact no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over 4.2 innings pitched. Brooks has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  stolen base was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Maddilynn McNulty, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Caitlyn Geiser, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ridgevue is set to  take on  their familiar foe Mountain View  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Owyhee will  face off against  rival Boise  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
