Carson Kozeal made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his seven plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Drew Powers was excellent, going 4-for-6 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.

Gross Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
