Basketball Recap: Centerville's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Avon two weeks ago, Centerville came back down to earth. The Centerville Tornadoes fell just short of the Beresford Watchdogs by a score of 64-62 on Tuesday. The loss was the Tornadoes' first of the season.

Centerville's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1. As for Beresford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centerville will head out to challenge Gayville-Volin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beresford, they will square off against Parker at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Beresford is facing Parker at the right time seeing as Parker is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
