Chaparral fell victim to Deming and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Lobos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chaparral has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Deming, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-11.

While Chaparral had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
