Baseball Recap: Edgewood Takes a Loss

Edgewood blew Quitman out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Quitman got their revenge. Edgewood fell just short of Quitman by a score of 5-3.

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Quitman, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Edgewood is taking a road trip to challenge Malakoff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
