Troy entered their tilt with Cohoes on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Tigers 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Flying Horses, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Troy pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cohoes, they moved to 3-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Troy will head out on the road to face off against Ballston Spa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Flying Horses 3.4, the Scotties 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Cohoes, they will welcome Mohonasen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
