Soccer Recap: Pieper Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Pieper kept a clean sheet against Antonian Prep on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Antonian Prep Apaches. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Matthew Randall and Jaxon Shaffer scored both of Pieper's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Pieper's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Antonian Prep, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-3 record this season.

Pieper wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against New Braunfels on the 14th. As for Antonian Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Savio on the 14th.
