Sparrows Point extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Mikey Maynor. The Pointers strolled past the Towson Generals with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 20-6 with plenty of help from Maynor, who rushed for 131 yards and one score on only 12 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.

Sparrows Point's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Towson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Sparrows Point has already played their next game, a 43-6 victory against Surrattsville on the 6th. As for Towson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 29-20 win against Overlea on the 8th.
