Caribou came tearing into Wednesday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 68-21 victory over the Houlton Shiretowners. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Caribou pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.9 points. As for Houlton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caribou will venture away from home to take on Old Town at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Caribou knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Old Town likes a good challenge. As for Houlton, they will head out to face off against Mount Desert Island at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
