Volleyball Recap: Mansfield Timberview Triumphs

It was close, but on Friday the Mansfield Timberview Wolves sidestepped the Horn Jaguars for a 3-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Chloe Madison was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs and three aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Mansfield Timberview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Horn lost, don't look at Juliet Chibuko. Despite the final result, she had 15 kills and four blocks. Chibuko is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Mansfield Timberview's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Horn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-16.

Mansfield Timberview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Joshua on the 9th. As for Horn, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Skyline on the 9th.
