Softball Recap: Clay Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Clay won against Bowling Green on Wednesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Napoleon Wildcats 11-4. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Clay's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Napoleon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clay is set to square off against their familiar foe Findlay at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Napoleon will take on rival Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
