Football Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olympia can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 31-14 to the Camas Papermakers. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Bears couldn't quite close it out.

When it comes to explaining why Olympia lost, don't look at Charles DeBord. Despite the final result, he picked up 100 receiving yards and one TD.

Camas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Thor Brody, who rushed for 142 yards, and also caught a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Brody has posted since back in September. Camas also got help from Charlie Barr, who showed off his sure hands for 94 receiving yards.

Olympia dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Camas, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Olympia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Camas, they will challenge Skyline at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
