Baseball Recap: Keystone Oaks Has No Trouble Against Winchester Thurston

On Thursday, the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles made easy work of Winchester Thurston and carried off a 10-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Altenbaugh, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Liebro, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Altenbaugh wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Keystone Oaks kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winchester Thurston only managed six hits.

Keystone Oaks' record is now 2-0. As for Winchester Thurston, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keystone Oaks will head out to challenge Seton LaSalle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Winchester Thurston, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Cornell at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
