Independence came out on top against Trinity on Monday thanks in part to Sofia Pichert's efforts. Pichert had 14 digs and three assists. The effort marked the most digs she has had over her last six contests.

Pichert and Independence will challenge North Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will pit Pichert up against the Bears' star defensive specialist Ally Buffa.
