After a string of four wins, Lipan's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Eagle Mountain Knights, falling 12-6.

Lipan saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Lott, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Lott has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Brayden Harrison was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Lipan's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Eagle Mountain, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lipan will host Santo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eagle Mountain, they will face off against Castleberry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
