Big Rapids's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Chippewa Hills Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Cardinals this season.

Big Rapids walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-10.

Big Rapids' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-15-1. As for Chippewa Hills, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
