Soccer Preview: New Brockton vs. Long
The New Brockton Gamecocks will head out on the road to face off against the Long Rebels at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
New Brockton has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Geneva finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked New Brockton's first draw of the season.
Meanwhile, Long kept a clean sheet against Barbour County on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Long's winning goal came courtesy of Brayden Jordan.
As for New Brockton, they moved theirs to 0-5-1. As for Long, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.
