Volleyball Recap: Desert Oasis Beats Spring Valley for Their Third Straight Victory

Desert Oasis entered their tilt with Spring Valley on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Grizzlies. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Diamondbacks have posted since August 28th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Desert Oasis got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 25-21, 23-25, 15-10.

Charli Quinto paced Desert Oasis' offense, picking up 11 kills. Quinto got some help from Riana Morales Imura and her 14 assists. Quinto was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Spring Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leyla Navrkal, who had 13 digs.

Desert Oasis' victory bumped their record up to 12-20. As for Spring Valley, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-10.
