Volleyball Recap: Mayfield Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mayfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the EF Academy Hawks on Tuesday. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mayfield took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-11.

Mayfield's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for EF Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Mayfield has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Polytechnic on the 9th. As for EF Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Southwestern Academy on the 9th.
