Basketball Game Preview: Lexington Catholic Knights vs. Western Hills Wolverines

The Lexington Catholic Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Western Hills Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lexington Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell to Casey County 66-60.

Meanwhile, Western Hills had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Commodores 80-50. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Western Hills pushed their record up to 15-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Lexington Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
