Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baker County). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hilliard Red Flashes a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matches.
Rylee Walker looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Baleigh Shields was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Jackson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
