Softball Recap: Wellborn Takes a Loss

Wellborn's last matchup with Randolph County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Panthers lost 12-1 to the Tigers. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Wellborn's record now sits at 6-15. As for Randolph County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wellborn and Randolph County will both be playing Oak Grove the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
