Softball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Sulligent's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Sulligent unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Hackleburg Panthers, falling 11-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered since March 8th.

Aubree Flynn was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Sulligent's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Hackleburg, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Sulligent will take on Gordo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hackleburg, they will face off against Winfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
