Volleyball Recap: West Marshall Takes a Loss

West Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewis Central Titans.

Lewis Central found their leader in sophomore Jacey Young, who had six digs and three aces.

West Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lewis Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

West Marshall will challenge South Hamilton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lewis Central, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Ballard on the 27th.
