Preview: Sunray Bobcats vs. Booker Kiowas
The Sunray Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Booker Kiowas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunray is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Sunray had to suffer through a rough 70-29 loss at the hands of Gruver. Sunray was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.
Meanwhile, Booker ended up a good deal behind West Texas on Friday and lost 48-33. It was the first time this season that Booker let down their fans at home.
The losing side was boosted by Hagen Chisum, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 45.5% of Booker's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Sunray's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Booker, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
Sunray was taken down by Booker 74-44 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Sunray avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
