Baseball Game Preview: Duchesne Eagles vs. Millard Eagles

For the second straight game, Duchesne will face off against Millard. Duchesne will challenge Millard at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Duchesne has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Duchesne came up short against Millard, falling 19-9. Duchesne's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nashden Goodliffe and Wyatt Christensen did some serious damage despite the final result: Goodliffe went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Christensen went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Goodliffe has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Payson Davis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Duchesne's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-15. As for Millard, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
