Softball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Hershey was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell 7-2 to Southern Valley/Alma. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southern Valley/Alma apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hershey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Hampton, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Southern Valley/Alma, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Hershey wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Centura on the 22nd. As for Southern Valley/Alma, they have also already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Ord on the 22nd.
