Baseball Recap: Mendez Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Mendez was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Sotomayor Wolves.

Mendez's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sotomayor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Mendez will challenge Fremont at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pathfinders have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Sotomayor, they will face off against Gardena at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
