Basketball Recap: Lake Region Comes Up Short

Lake Region was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 61-41 to the Harwood Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-41 last Friday.

Lake Region's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Harwood, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Coming up, Lake Region will face off against Spaulding at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Region is facing Spaulding at the right time seeing as Spaulding is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harwood, they will welcome Peoples Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
