Basketball Recap: North Plainfield Takes a Loss

North Plainfield suffered their closest defeat since December 29, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Monroe Township Falcons by a score of 53-51. The Canucks haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

North Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Monroe Township, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Plainfield will square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe Township has already played their next game (against Piscataway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
