Basketball Recap: Minerva Takes a Loss

Minerva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 45-27 bruising from the Marlington Dukes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dukes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-29 back in December of 2025.

Minerva's record now sits at 2-14. As for Marlington, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Minerva will challenge rival Alliance at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Marlington is set to square off against their familiar foe Salem at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
