Softball Recap: Valley View Eagles vs. Chino Hills Huskies
Valley View won the last time they faced Chino Hills and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Valley View Eagles walked away with a 6-1 win over the Chino Hills Huskies.
Bella Hernandez tossed a big game, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Miranda Maese and Maddie Barrios did most of the damage at the plate: Maese went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Barrios went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Hailey Ramirez was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
