Basketball Recap: Pepin/Alma Comes Up Short

Pepin/Alma was the 55-44 winner over Melrose-Mindoro when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Pepin/Alma fell 58-45 to the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs on Monday.

Pepin/Alma's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Melrose-Mindoro, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pepin/Alma will welcome Augusta at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they will be playing at home against Eleva-Strum at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Eleva-Strum will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Melrose-Mindoro surely won't give up without a fight.
