Basketball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt an 84-48 loss at the hands of the Fort Vancouver Trappers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Trappers are ranked 116th).

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Fort Vancouver, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Stevenson will host King's Way Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Vancouver, they will take on Kalama at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Vancouver knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Kalama likes a good challenge.
