Soccer Recap: Severance Comes Up Short

Severance lost against Frederick back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Silver Knights fell 3-1 to the Golden Eagles. One reason for the loss might be Severance's aggressive play style: Brandon Brewer and Gio Conchas were both handed yellow cards.

Severance's goal came courtesy of Isaac Beals, which was the first he's scored this season.

Severance now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Frederick, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Severance will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Fort Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frederick, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Monarch on the 2nd.
