Basketball Recap: Council Wins Going Away Against Vision

On Tuesday, the Council Lumberjacks strolled past Vision with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lumberjacks.

Despite the loss, Vision still got an impressive performance from Raelynn Nickel, who posted 13 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. Nickel is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 37 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Angel Gutierrez, who scored nine points and five boards.

Council's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Vision, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Council will face off against Compass Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vision does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
