Volleyball Recap: Clovis West Comes Up Short

Clovis West was the 2-1 winner over Oaks Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles fell 2-0 to the Lions on Saturday.

Brooklyn Lopez paced Clovis West's offense, picking up nine kills. Lopez got some help from Eve Dixon and her 18 assists. Ana Dixon and Jaden Graham kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Clovis West's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Oaks Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-4.

Looking ahead, Clovis West will head out to challenge Clovis North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oaks Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Chaminade on the 4th.
