Soccer Recap: St. Clair County Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last contest, St. Clair County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Holy Family Catholic on Tuesday. They blew past the Holy Family Catholic Tornadoes 6-3. Considering the Fighting Saints' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Hunter Swaffield and Russell George scored all six of St. Clair County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

St. Clair County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Holy Family Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

St. Clair County has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Etowah on the 27th. As for Holy Family Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tuscaloosa Academy at 7:30 p.m. on March 5th. This will be Tuscaloosa Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
