Soccer Game Preview: San Marin vs. Branson

The San Marin Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Branson Bulls at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, neither San Marin nor Marin Catholic could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Branson was not quite Archie Williams' equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Peregrine Falcons by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulls in their matchups with the Peregrine Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Branson's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 2-4-4. San Marin's draw makes their record 4-3-3 this season.

San Marin beat Branson by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 2-1. Does San Marin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Branson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
