Basketball Recap: Platt Tech Comes Up Short

Platt Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Nonnewaug Chiefs, falling 77-16.

Platt Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Nonnewaug, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Platt Tech and Wolcott RVT will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Nonnewaug, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Thomaston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
