Volleyball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Mountain View

Forge Christian came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Mountain View, but Jose Rodriguez Rios wouldn't allow it. Mountain View put the hurt on Forge Christian with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday with plenty of help from Rodriguez Rios, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-17.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 2-5. As for Forge Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Mountain View will face off against Eagle Ridge Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Forge Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mullen on the 25th.
