Soccer Recap: Goddard Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Goddard and Newton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Goddard had to settle for second. They lost 5-0 to the Railroaders. While losing is never fun, Goddard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Newton are ranked 11th).

Goddard dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Newton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

As of now, neither Goddard nor the Railroaders have any future games scheduled.
