Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Abraham Velasco stepped things up a notch to give Denver City the 'W'. Velasco rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only nine carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.

Velasco and Denver City are taking a road trip to challenge Lamesa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Velasco will face off against Nathan Ortega, the Tornadoes' star running back. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
